Sunday Salon – holidays

Yes, you read that correctly, I’ve got a week off work. No idea what to do with it. I’m currently thinking armchair + books + tea. And a lot of cooking and baking… I’ve found this blog, which is full of good cooking and baking ideas, as is this blog… Lemon slice? Cinnamon nutella rolls? I think so.

The weather’s finally defrosting slightly, to the point where it’s not inconceivable that one might spend some time in the garden. So that too.

Read three good books this week: Kristina Ohlsson’s Unwanted and Silenced as well as Ann B. Ross’ Miss Julia Stirs Up Trouble. The last totally different from the former two, but all good reading. Who  knows, I might even get back on track with my Goodreads challenge – to read 100 books this year – this week. I’m only 11 books behind schedule…

Oh my, that beautiful mess blog looks amazing. It makes me want to try all the things, but I doubt if I’m that good a cook (or anything to do with the kitchen). And it looks so pretty!

Have a happy week off! If I had one I think I’d be reading with tea as well.
