Saturday Silliness

So this is probably inviting the spam-bot apocalypse, but I got this as a spam comment earlier this week:

obviously like your web site but you have to check the spelling on several of your posts. A number of them are rife with spelling problems and I find it very bothersome to tell the truth nevertheless I will certainly come back again.

Apart from the earnest promise to visit again, which is touching, I am incensed by the aspersions cast upon my grasp of the English language!

The Physicist and I went to see Brave on Tuesday – I’d been holding out to watch it forever. Sadly, it wasn’t as good as I thought it would be – the story was just so much less dramatic than the trailer (which is excellent and below) led me to believe. Now for true heroics, you need Mulan…

Last but not least, news this week that chocolate and tea, among other foods, are structurally similar to valproic acid, the main ingredient in several mood stabilizing drugs. Totally justifies tucking into a jar of Nutella with a spoon.

(hat tip to Lifehacker for bringing this one to my attention)

Getting that second cup of tea right now and pushing away the glass of water! The trend towards negative spam is odd – if the blogger targeted hadn’t been deleting them so far they surely will be now.

LOL, that is an infuriating comment! Spambots are getting more intelligent, aren’t they?
Brave sounds like a great movie, I definitely have to watch it one of these days 🙂 Have an extra crepe banana nutella for me will you? 😉
