This week’s Musing Mondays asks
When you’re stuck for a book to read next, what do you do?
I’m rarely stuck for a book to read next. As I’ve said before, I have over 800 books on my shelves (never mind getting on for 200 on the Kindle), which I have bought or had sent to me for review, that are as yet untouched. I try to alternate between my own books and review books; my own choices being prioritised (or rather, I should say “promoted” seeing as there is no real structure to my reading choices) by challenges, review books by deadline.
If I was stuck for a book, I’d probably ring up Mini-Me or the No Longer Resident Cousin for a recommendation. They’re pretty good sources.
I find it hardest to find the next read when I’ve just read something amazing.
