Things I did not expect to see at Bangkok airport

Pretty much what it says on the tin.

That, my friends, is a branch of Boots the Chemist. In Thailand. Specifically, a bit of Thailand you can only get to if you are flying somewhere else.

Bestselling thrillers, in German.

Elephant. Large, fluffy, pink, holding many more small fluffy elephants.

A stand of Thai Whisky. Did not know there was such a thing. See if you can make out the amusing name of one of the whisky brands.

Lots of different varieties of my favourite German chocolate, Ritter Sport

My favourite biscuits from two countries – Australian Tim Tams and Scottish shortbread

The last and most bizarre one of the collection: a promotional stand for Munich Airport, with which it seems Suvarnabhumi Airport (Bangkok) is twinned. Who knew airports could be twinned as well as cities!
