This week’s Musing Mondays asks
Have you ever read a book that, at the time, you didn’t feel a strong connection towards, but as time goes by you find yourself thinking about it a lot?
All. The. Time. I look back on books and think why did I rate it so highly (e.g. The Love Verb) or so low (e.g. The Hand That First Held Mine) – they seem so different after 6 months.
Most recently, Me Before You is refusing to check out of my brain hotel, ditto The Two Deaths of Daniel Hayes and from a bit longer ago Take This Man. All highly recommended!

Rick Moody’s The Black Veil. I’ve been tempted to go back and revise my original review on Amazon.

Tossing It Out
